Moderate Democrat Makes a case for Iraq

Thoughts from a well respected member of the Senate in the midst of the so-called debate regarding a "cut 'n' run" strategy in Iraq. This debacle, as it has become, is a long-term process whether we like it or not. The security and the best interest of the US and the Middle East at large, depend on a secure democratic Iraq, whenever and however that may be. Senator Lieberman, while diverging from the likes of the far left crazies, delivers a clear, poignant analysis on yesterdays opinion page of the Wall Street Journal.

Like getting beat up by a girl, there are somethings you just can't live down

This is the danger of entering the political world, nobody ever forgets. You're always "that guy". Ala, Al Gore, "I invented the internet"or former President Howard Taft getting caught in the bath tub.

Let's hope that his son won't make the same mistake.
